Terms & Conditions – Erkelens & Olson AuctionsBy registering and bidding, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Bids are binding, and all sales are final.
General Terms
All items are sold “AS IS, WHERE IS” with no warranties or guarantees of any kind, expressed or implied.
All sales are final.
No reserve prices — everything sells absolute.
E&O does not represent any manufacturer; items are sold as recovered freight.
It is the bidder’s responsibility to determine condition, age, authenticity, value, and suitability prior to bidding.
Bidders must rely on their own inspection and information.
Announcements made on auction day take precedence over prior written or advertised material.
Payment
All purchases must be paid in full the day of the auction.
Payment is due immediately after the close of the auction.
Accepted forms of payment: Cash, Debit/Credit Card (no fees).
Invoices will be emailed after the auction with a secure payment link.
If payment is not received by 2:00 PM on auction day, Erkelens & Olson will charge any card on file.
All sales are final. The auctioneer’s record of sale is conclusive.
Restricted Items
Certain items cannot be resold and may need to be returned if requested. Examples include: weapons, illegal drugs, IDs, privacy-related items, alcohol, tobacco, aviation parts, firearms, military/government equipment, prototypes, industrial electronics, original artwork, or other items not intended for open market sale.
If recovery is required, Buyer must return the goods and will be reimbursed up to the purchase price.
Items may not be sold back to the original manufacturer.
Catalog & Photos
Auction catalog, photos, stock images and descriptions are provided as a guide only.
Counts, quantities, and descriptions are not guaranteed.
E&O reserves the right to add, group, divide, or withdraw lots.
Errors or omissions do not relieve bidder responsibility.
Buyer’s Premium & Fees
An 8% Buyer’s Premium applies to all purchases.
Sales tax applies unless Buyer provides valid exemption documentation.
Registration & Bidding
All bidders must register through our website.
New bidders with limited or no Bidspotter history may be required to provide a $500 refundable deposit before approval.
By registering, you authorize a temporary pre-authorization hold of $500. This is refunded if no purchase is made or if alternate payment is arranged.
Once positive bidding history is established, deposits are not required.
Minimum bid: $25 or $10. Bids increase in $25/$10 increments.
By registering, you agree to receive auction updates by email (opt-out available).
Auction Process
Auctions are conducted online in a timed format.
The first lot begins closing Thursday at 9:00 AM, with subsequent lots closing every 10 seconds.
Any bid placed within the final 2 minutes extends that lot’s closing time by 2 minutes.
There are no in-person previews.
All bids are final. Please bid resonsibly--if you're uncertain, it's best not to bid.
Auctioneer reserves the right to:
Accept bids in increments deemed in the seller’s best interest.
Reject any bid or bidder at their discretion.
Refuse service to anyone.
Only winning bidders may enter the auction house. For safety reasons, children are not permitted.
Removal / Pickup
Buyers are responsible for removing purchases during the scheduled pickup days and times.
After purchase, items become the Buyer’s responsibility.
Purchases not removed by the posted deadline may be forfeited without refund.
A paid invoice is required for pickup.
Pallet jacks and forklifts are available for assistance.
Pallets not picked up by Monday following the auction will incur a $25 per pallet, per day storage fee.
Wire bins are not to be removed from the auction house.
E&O staff will be on-site to help ensure a smooth and accurate pickup process.
All sales are final, with no refunds or exchanges.

Counterfeit Disclaimer
Every effort is made to exclude counterfeit items; however, no guarantee is made regarding authenticity or value.
If a buyer suspects an item is counterfeit, they must notify staff before leaving the premises.
Suspected counterfeit items will be destroyed immediately. No refunds or adjustments will be made.
